Mariana San Juan

MARIANA SAN JUAN 2.jpeg

Until I reached seventeen, my home was Rio Grande, Tierra del Fuego, where nature's force was palpable—the ceaseless wind, profound silence, and a landscape that defied comprehension, embodying a timeless mineral essence. The borderlands persistently infiltrate my canvases; they remain unfinished, perpetually captured, and eternally elusive.

Born in Rio Grande, Tierra del Fuego, she moved to Buenos Aires at the age of 17. After devoting 15 years to theatrical pursuits, she discovered her true passion for the visual arts. She studied under the guidance of renowned artists such as Oscar Grillo Ortiz, Juan Doffo, Diana Dowek, and Marcelo Cofone, and received artistic mentoring from Mg Karina Maddonni.
